Racquet Club de Villapadierna Hosts the 2nd Round of the Andalusian Padel Circuit in Estepona
Estepona becomes the epicenter of Andalusian padel this weekend, with top players in action at Villapadierna’s facilities, supported by the Estepona Town Hall and the Málaga Provincial Government.
This weekend, the Racquet Club de Villapadierna in Estepona will host the 2nd Round of the Andalusian Padel Circuit. The competition, which brings together the best players from the region, kicks off this Saturday with the support of the Estepona Town Hall and the Málaga Provincial Government.
Estepona is preparing to welcome the top names in Andalusian padel with the celebration of the 2nd Round of the Andalusian Padel Circuit, taking place on April 25th and 26th at the Racquet Club de Villapadierna. Under the supervision of referee Francisco Javier Sánchez, the event will feature an ABS 6000 category and 28 stars, ensuring high-level competition.
The event has been organized by Prodigy Padel and the Racquet Club de Villapadierna, with the collaboration of the Andalusian Padel Federation. Additionally, it is supported by the Estepona Town Hall and the Málaga Provincial Government, which are contributing to make this a significant sports event.
Men’s Draw:
In the men’s category, José Manuel Arcas and Alberto Molina are the favorites to win the title, being the top-seeded pair. They are followed by Alfonso Díaz and Ismael Maqueda, who are in second place, and Fernando Zambrano and Saúl Rubio, who are ranked third. The fourth position goes to Álvaro Moreno and Javi Anaya.
Women’s Draw:
In the women’s draw, Ana Elliot and Andrea Lima are the favorites to take the title. Ainhoa Corrales and Carmen Vega are ranked second, while Elvira Camacho and Yolanda Abreu are in third place. The fourth-ranked pair are Olena Kyrpot and Cristina Blanco.
Competition Schedule:
The action will begin on Saturday, April 25th, at 9:30 AM with the first matches in both categories. Throughout the day, the men’s quarterfinals will be played at 6:30 PM, followed by the women’s semifinals at 8:00 PM.
On Sunday, April 26th, the men’s semifinals will take place at 9:00 AM, and the two finals, for both men and women, will be held from 12:00 PM.
The 2nd Round of the Andalusian Padel Circuit is backed by the Estepona Town Hall, which continues to support sports development in the town. Additionally, the Málaga Provincial Government collaborates through the "Málaga Compite" program, which supports high-level sports events in the province.
