Estepona offers new French courses with discounts and official certifications
The City Council and the Alliance Française renew their collaboration to teach French and provide access to international certifications.
The Estepona City Council and the Alliance Française of Málaga launch new French courses for the upcoming school year starting on October 6. Those interested can benefit from a 50-euro discount by enrolling between July 1 and 10.
Estepona continues its commitment to French language education with the launch of new courses in collaboration with the Alliance Française of Málaga. This year, French courses will begin on October 6 and run until June, offering both in-person and online options. Additionally, the City Council has renewed its partnership with the Alliance Française, which will allow residents to access official courses leading to internationally recognized certifications, such as DELF and DALF.
Courses for all ages and levels
For the ninth consecutive year, Estepona is becoming a hub for French language education on the Costa del Sol. The courses cater to all ages, from children as young as 4 years old to adults, with schedules tailored to each group. Adult courses, with two classes per week, and children's and junior courses, with one class per week, will last 1 hour and 30 minutes per session.
This year, a new class will be offered for francophone children aged 4-5, aimed at strengthening language development in a non-francophone environment. Conversation classes will also be available for those who wish to practice French for fun or maintain their connection with the language. All classes will be held at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel, with the option to attend online.
Discounts and bonuses
From July 1 to 10, those interested can enjoy a 50-euro discount on enrollments for annual children's and junior courses, as well as for the quarterly adult courses. Additionally, there are bonuses available for vulnerable groups, as well as discounts for loyalty or family and friends.
Specialized training and official exams
As in previous years, the Alliance Française will continue to offer preparatory courses for the official DELF and DALF exams, which will take place in Estepona later this year. These diplomas are internationally recognized and certify French language skills at both academic and professional levels. The Alliance Française is the only official exam center for these exams in the province of Málaga.
The DELF and DALF exams for adults will be held at the end of September, while the DELF Junior exams, aimed at secondary school and high school students, will take place in October. To help candidates prepare, specialized workshops will be offered from November to February, focusing on exam methodology and practice with mock exams.
In addition to education, the Alliance Française will continue to promote Francophone culture in Estepona. Throughout the year, cultural events will be organized, including free monthly French film screenings at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel.
