Estepona celebrates its 2025 Fair with Haze, Antonio José and Medina Azahara
From July 1st to 6th, the city hosts free concerts, activities for all ages and the traditional bullfight
Estepona's Fair and Major Festivities 2025 kicks off on July 1st with the opening speech by Eva Ruiz and Nuria Fergó, offering six days of free shows at the Municipal Marquee featuring artists like Haze, Antonio José and Medina Azahara, plus family activities and the traditional bullfight.
Estepona City Council has officially presented the program for the Fair and Major Festivities 2025, to be held from July 1st to 6th at the city's Fairgrounds. The event, which marks the most important festive date of the year for Estepona residents, combines Andalusian tradition with top-level shows that are completely free of charge.
The inauguration will take place on Tuesday, July 1st with the opening speech by Canal Sur presenter Eva Ruiz, accompanied by a performance by Málaga singer Nuria Fergó. The event will begin at 9:00 PM at the extension of Juan Carlos I avenue, next to the fountain square at the Athletics Stadium.

Top-level free concerts
The Municipal Marquee will be the musical epicenter of the fair, hosting performances by renowned national artists. The lineup includes rapper Haze (Wednesday, July 2nd), singer Antonio José (Friday 4th), the legendary Andalusian rock group Medina Azahara (Saturday 5th) and the flamenco show 'Al compás por sevillanas' featuring Las Soles, María de la Colina and Sal Marina (Thursday 3rd).
According to the councillor for Festivities, Macarena Diánez, the program includes "performances and activities aimed at all audiences," from children's shows to proposals for seniors.
Family activities and traditions
Wednesday will be Children's Day, with a children's party at 7:00 PM featuring 'Tina Kids and friends' at the Municipal Marquee. Additionally, the fairground attractions will offer special discounts during this day.
Senior citizens will have their special moment on Thursday, July 3rd with the traditional Senior Citizens' Afternoon Tea in collaboration with Los Remedios Bakery-Pastry Shop, entertained by Mónica Peña Academy and Tamara Jerez's performance.
One of the most popular novelties returns this year: free horse-drawn carriage rides will be available from Thursday to Saturday, every afternoon, with a stop at the Municipal Marquee.
Equestrian and bullfighting tradition
Horse enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the Horse Parade from Friday to Sunday (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM), with recommendations to come dressed in Andalusian style and with decorated horses.
On Sunday, July 6th, the 8th Andalusian Horse Decoration Contest will be held, with prizes of up to €250 and trophies for the best-dressed horses and riders in the categories of Rider, Young Rider, Veteran Rider, Couple and Amazon. The Estepona Horse Friends Association collaborates in the organization.
The fair will culminate with the traditional bullfight at the Bullring (8:00 PM), featuring an exceptional lineup: Morante, Manzanares and Talavante will fight six bulls from the prestigious Hermanos García Jiménez and Olga Jiménez ranch.
Impact on Estepona
The fair represents one of the most important events of the year for the local economy, attracting thousands of visitors from both nearby municipalities and tourists. Municipal workers have been working for days on the preparation of the Fairgrounds and the installation of the luminous entrance arch.
For people with hearing sensitivity, the City Council has set up the Civil Protection Tent at the fairground entrance, where free hearing protectors can be collected.
