Cancelada Fair 2025 to Feature Performances by Rosa López and Amistades Peligrosas

The Cancelada Fair, taking place from August 21 to 24, will offer a wide range of activities for all ages. Among the highlighted performances will be Rosa López, Amistades Peligrosas, and Las Carlotas, alongside children's shows, live music, and cultural events.
The Cancelada Fair 2025 promises to be one of the most significant of recent years, featuring a full schedule of activities for every taste. Organized by the Estepona City Council, the festivities will run from Thursday, August 21, to Sunday, August 24. According to Begoña Ortiz, the Deputy Mayor for the Outskirts area, the event is highly anticipated by both residents and visitors, prompting special attention in the planning.
The fair will include over 20 activities, such as concerts, children's entertainment, sports competitions, and cultural events. Attendees can enjoy free performances from well-known national artists like Rosa López, Amistades Peligrosas, and Las Carlotas.
Thursday, August 21 – Night Fair
The event will kick off at 21:00 with a speech by Diego Barranco Mata, a well-known local entrepreneur. This will be followed by performances from David Quirós and dancer Ana Guerrero at Plaza José Vázquez Espinosa. At 22:30, the opening ceremony will take place with the lighting of the fairground. The evening will continue with a live performance by the Orquesta Metrópolis at 23:00, and at 00:30, the Youth Tent will open, featuring the best current music.
Friday, August 22 – Day Fair
The day will begin at 12:30 with the children's show "La Caja de Música" at Plaza de la Juventud. At 14:30, the Day Fair will be inaugurated with the Grupo Latidos. In the afternoon, there will be activities for children, such as free inflatable games from 15:00 to 19:00 at Plaza del Consultorio, as well as the award ceremony for the Football Tournament at 16:00. The evening will culminate with the concert by Amistades Peligrosas at 00:00 at the Official Tent.
Saturday, August 23 – Water Party and Paella
Saturday will begin with a water party at 12:30 at the Free Wave Sports Center in the Cancelada neighborhood. At 14:00, the traditional free paella, prepared by master paella chef Raúl Postigo, will be served and accompanied by live music from Grupo Latidos. Additionally, from 15:00 to 19:00, there will be inflatable games available, followed by a performance by Capitán Vinilo at 17:30. The evening will close with a concert by Rosa López at 00:00.
Sunday, August 24 – Rociero Sunday
The last day of the fair will begin at 10:30 with a Rociero Mass in honor of the Virgen del Purísimo Corazón de María, accompanied by the Son y Sal Rociero Choir. At 12:30, the II Concurso Ataviado a la Andaluza will be held, honoring Joaquín Márquez González, a renowned breeder and horse breeder. From 14:00, Grupo Latidos will liven up Plaza José Vázquez Espinosa, while children can enjoy inflatable games at Plaza del Consultorio. The fair will conclude with a performance by Las Carlotas at 23:00.
